How do I know which products to choose to match my lifestyle?

Total Home Automation carries a wide variety of products to fit everyone’s lifestyle and budget. One of our first steps is to sit with our clients and browse through product demo’s and catalogs. At that point will evaluate your lifestyle Vs. product match-up.

Where can I find audio and video equipment that will not be out of date in six months?

Well, there is no guarantee that any piece of equipment, whether it's a dvd player or a plasma television, will not be extinct in any given time frame in today’s rapidly growing electronic age. These things seem to be extinct over night. However, to reduce this painful fact as much possibly, Total Home Automation will supply an Audio/Video Specialist to work with our clients to make sure all of their concerns are addressed and that they are getting the best possible equipment.

Why doesn't my home builder include computer networking in my new home?

That's an over site by many new home builders, they seem to think that people are happy enough with the telephone and cable television hookups. Well, that's not the case in today's society, on average every home has 2.5 computers. Within the past five years this motto has been changing, builders are becoming more aware of what the customers want. If you are considering building a new home make sure the builder is including some type of structured wiring, the bare minimum should include telephone, coaxial cable(digital quality), and a Local Area Network (LAN). For more information check out our Structured Wiring section under Services.

Who is going to show us how all of these products work together?

We will provide you with all the documentation and walk you through the system. There are sometimes things that people realize they need tweaked after living with a system for a while, if there are any changes that need to be made we will provide this service.
